Family picture - we don't have any pictures of us three. I think we need to keep practicing, Amy was getting tired her after all her birthday cake excitement. All in all it was a great 1st birthday but I know now why people have birthday parties at Happy Joe's - no cake in your carpet and no cooking or cleaning up. Next year - Happy Joe's here we come! Happy Birthday Amy - I can't believe a year can go by so fast! Here is to many more years flying by for my beautiful daughter Amy.

September 2010

Go Hawkeyes - First game September 4th - Amy was sporting her cute Hawkeye dress.

Boat ride with Daddy.

Amy was supervisoring the construction happening in the yard down at the river. The neighbor was pulling out the steel structures left from the cabin.

Here is another video. I finally got Amy walking. But I need to explain what she is carrying. We have a magnet on the refridgerate that Amy loves to get - a beer. We call it Amy's beer which we need to stop calling it that because she will be saying it soon. Anyway, she is carrying it around and chasing it. Priceless - her first walking video includes her carrying a beer - it must be the Hoschek in her.

Stuecker Picnic & Swimming

Here is Amy cheering on her cousin Taylor at the Big Wheel races at the West Point Sweet Corn Festival. Taylor did great and placed 2nd in her age division.

After the races it was off the to the 1st annual Stuecker picnic. It was 105 heat index so the picnic was moved inside. Amy had a great time with all the attention from her cousins.

Bennie enjoying watching Amy swim. Believe it or not he stayed out of the pool when Amy was in it. But he did try and steal some of her toys when she was not looking.

Bathtime - My hair is finally getting long enough, Mom could style it with the shampoo. She also wanted me to mention in the background on the right side of the picture are her homegrown garden tomatoes - they look good.

Boy, bathtime is fun, all kinds of things to put in my mouth and they are clean!

June/July 2010

We are back, a few computer problems but all the pictures were saved. Here are the Redneck Babies with their Jean Diapers- Amy and cousin Teddy! Look at those thighs!

Amy loves to eat and all by herself. My sister-in-law Lisette made the comment in Teddy's blog that Teddy gets a little messier when Shae feeds him, it must run in the family because Amy gets really messy when Mom feeds her and stays much cleaner when Steve does it.

Introducing our New Baby Boy - Benny

Here he is...Benny Stuecker. Benny is excited to join the family, he is approximately 7-8 months old - the same age as Amy. He is a lab mix and a very good boy.

As you can see, Amy is very excited to have Benny. He loves to give kisses on the lips.
