Happy Valentine's Day

Amy wishes everyone a Happy Valentine's Day (a few days late). Here she was on Monday actually posing for a picture nicely.

Here is Amy coming closer to the camera. I liked this one because you can see her dimple.

Here is Amy taking her first tubby tubby in our new (old) bathtub. She had a great time and fit much better than in the sink bath tub.

Here she is busy again trying to tell me something and pointing. I am sure it was important and was a thank you to Daddy to getting the bathtub done for Valentine's Day and making Mommy VERY happy!

Here is my Valentine's Day present from Steve - my bathtub! I am so happy to get my bathtub back! It was removed 17 months ago (but who's counting) to be refinished. It had to wait over a year to be put back into use. The guy who restored it said it was the oldest he has every done. It is stamped 1904 on the bottom. It is beautiful and does a wonderful job - I just got out of it.

Blizzard 2011

So all the news channels are calling it the "Blizzard 2011" So far not so bad I don't mind having a snow day from work during our busy season and spending the day the Amy. Steve on the other hand is not so happy as he tries to dig us out. Luckily we never lost power so we have been warm and toasty in our house watching the storm and taking these pictures.

Out the front door - doesn't look so bad here, the road is actually clear but our drive way is not. We received between 14-16 inches.

Here are the drifts outside the kitchen door. Too bad I can't get to the van and go to work. Only 6 more weeks of winter! Tonight's low is supposed to be -10. Why do we live in Iowa? Is this heaven?

Amy with some crazy hair. She also has a bobo by her eye - she climbed on the couch at daycare and fell off and it the coffee table. I am sure it won't be her last injury from climbing.
